Welcome to Globigrad! These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Globigrad’s services. By engaging with our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use our services.

1. INTRODUCTION

Globigrad, headquartered in Hong Kong, is an international education consultancy offering guidance for students seeking to study abroad. Our services include, but are not limited to:

Course and university selection guidance
Study abroad application support
Visa application assistance
Overseas student health insurance assistance
Pre-departure briefings and ongoing support

These Terms apply to all users of our website, services, and related materials.

2. LEGAL JURISDICTION

Globigrad is a Hong Kong-registered company operating in compliance with the laws of Hong Kong SAR.
Any disputes or legal matters shall be governed by Hong Kong laws and settled exclusively in the courts of Hong Kong.
Our services are subject to international regulations, but we are not liable for compliance with the specific laws of other jurisdictions.

3. SCOPE OF SERVICES

3.1 Advisory Services Only

Globigrad is not a university, immigration agency, or scholarship provider. We provide advisory services only, and final decisions regarding:

University admissions
Visa approvals
Scholarship grants
are made by external institutions, government authorities, and third-party providers.

3.2 No Guarantees

Globigrad does not guarantee:

Admission into any university, college, or program.
Visa approvals or positive immigration outcomes.
Scholarship grants or financial aid.
Part-time or full-time job placements.
Any post-study immigration or residency benefits.

3.3 Third-Party Services

Globigrad may refer students to third-party providers for:

English proficiency tests (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, etc.).
Accommodation services.
Financial institutions for student loans.
Travel and relocation services.

Globigrad does not control, endorse, or accept liability for any third-party services. Students engage with them at their own discretion and risk.

4. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

By using Globigrad's services, you agree to:

Provide accurate, complete, and authentic information at all times.
Submit all required documents within the given timelines.
Take full responsibility for application outcomes.
Comply with immigration laws, visa conditions, and institutional policies.
Notify us of any changes in your application status, personal details, or circumstances that may affect your study abroad process.

Providing false or misleading information may result in service termination without refund.

5. FEES, PAYMENTS & REFUND POLICY

5.1 Service Fees

All service fees must be paid in full before Globigrad begins processing any application.
Fees do not include university application fees, visa fees, health insurance costs, or other third-party charges.

5.2 Non-Refundable Policy

All service fees are non-refundable once services commence.
If a student withdraws or cancels their application, no refund will be issued for services already provided.
If an application is rejected due to errors or misrepresentation by the student, Globigrad bears no liability and will not issue refunds.

5.3 Payment Disputes

Any payment-related disputes must be raised in writing within 7 days of the transaction date. Disputes beyond this period will not be entertained.

6. DOCUMENTATION & DATA COLLECTION

Globigrad collects and processes personal, academic, financial, and medical information for application purposes. This may include:

Academic transcripts and certificates
Identification documents (passport, national ID, etc.)
Financial supporting documents (bank statements, sponsorship letters, etc.)
Medical records (if required by the destination country)
Other documents required for admission, visa processing, or insurance

6.1 Confidentiality & Data Protection

Globigrad follows Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO) to safeguard user information.
However, we do not accept liability for unauthorized access, cyber-attacks, or data breaches beyond our control.

7. SERVICE LIMITATIONS & LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

7.1 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Globigrad is not liable for:

Visa denials, admission rejections, or application delays.
Financial losses, including tuition fees, visa costs, or other expenses.
Changes in immigration laws, university policies, or external circumstances.
Technical failures, website downtime, or force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, global pandemics, government policy changes).

Under no circumstances shall Globigrad be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7.2 Limited Liability Clause

Globigrad shall not be held responsible for:

Errors or misrepresentations in student applications.
Consequences of visa overstays, legal violations, or immigration non-compliance.
Any financial losses, accommodation issues, or health-related incidents abroad.

All decisions regarding admissions, visas, and other approvals rest solely with universities, immigration authorities, and third parties.

8. TERMINATION OF SERVICES

Globigrad reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate services without notice if:

A user provides false or misleading information.
The user fails to cooperate or engages in fraudulent activities.
There is a breach of these Terms & Conditions.
There are legal or ethical concerns regarding the user's conduct.

No refunds will be issued in cases of termination due to policy violations.

9. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR.
Any disputes shall first attempt to be resolved amicably.
If unresolved, disputes shall be settled in the courts of Hong Kong.

10. AMENDMENTS & CHANGES

Globigrad reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of the updated Terms.
